Generon was founded in 2005 as a spin-off of Neotron Group, one of the biggest players in analytical and consultancy services for food production and distribution companies.

Generon develops, manufactures and markets a wide range of laboratory solutions for testing the quality and safety of food, feed and water and for monitoring microbiological contamination. Generon also works as a distributor for companies looking for commercial partnerships in these markets.

Generon's products are based on technologies used to separate, purify, analyze and identify chemicals and biological materials such as toxins, proteins and nucleic acids. Some of these technologies include immuno-assay, chromatography, microbiology and real-time PCR.

The experience of the staff, the high-end instrumentation and the strong partnership with the parent company allow Generon to offer to industry QC labs, QC contract laboratories and public entities a unique capacity to tailor and validate every standard or customised product. Generon is ISO 9001:2000 certified and participates in systematic third party ring test testing to ensure the highest quality.
